A native of Northamptonshire, Jorden has lived in various places in England, as well as France and Wales. An accountant by trade, he also serves on the executive board of a local food bank and has previously worked with a credit union based in Wales.

As Chair of The Greener Earth Project, he is responsible for building external partnerships, gaining relevant accreditations, as well being responsible for all the financials and chairing meetings of the board.
