To complete our planting, we work with community groups and businesses around the globe, and the money we raise not only plants trees, it protects the site after planting is completed and ensures those planting the trees receive a fair wage. We also commit to nurturing the trees to ensure they reach maturity.
*61% of the 200 people we surveyed believed it was a smart idea for businesses to incorporate tree planting into their business model, and 38% thought it was a reasonable idea.

We work with community groups based in the planting countries, the money raised not only plants the trees but provides a fair wage for the planters and makes sure the site is protected after planting is completed so the tree can flourish and reach maturity. Any trees that don’t make it are replaced.
At the end of each quarter (March, June, September, December) we will email you a report detailing how many trees you’ve planted and where.
We want to make sure we’re planting the right trees in the right place, so in order to preserve the ecosystems of our planting countries, we only plant trees native to that country, or trees that provide food for the local community.
Yes! If paying by Direct Debit, all you need to do is cancel it. Otherwise, just drop us an email at hello@thegreenerearthproject.org to let us know you’d like to pause or cancel.
The cost per tree varies on the country where it’s planted, and depends on factors such as land and labour costs, a breakdown is below:
